About Us
Hi, we are Tim and Arian Hungaski. Tim is an Occupational Therapist and Arian is raising our three small boys. On a road trip with the family in November of 2006, we stopped for a sandwich before getting on the highway - it was TERRIBLE. Why, we thought to ourselves, can’t you get a good sandwich in or around Kempton?
The next morning we called David and Debbie Bond to inquire about buying their old country general store where Arian worked in college. The following May we became proud owners of the beautiful old building.
Since then we have been painting inside and out and refinishing the floors, but most
importantly scouring the countryside for affordable quality products. We are excited
to provide both a traditional, full-service general store AND a new deli counter
offering the fresh, tasty, made-to-order sandwiches we wished we could find on our
2006 road trip. In addition we offer sliced deli meats and cheese, hunting licenses and
fishing licenses, basic hunting and fishing gear, live bait, responsibly manufactured
toys, cards, gift wrap, art supplies, convenience groceries, local produce, 
organic dairy AND Clover Dairy products, health and
beauty basics, Fedco Seeds, Badger Balm,
fresh brewed Green Mountain Coffee,
beautiful things crafted by local artists,
bulk foods including some organics and high quality inexpensive spices.
